  1. Develop and test advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for Ford Motor vehicles.
  2. Utilize simulation tools and techniques to design, evaluate, and optimize ADAS features.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ADAS functionality meets design and performance requirements.
  4. Analyze simulation results and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies in ADAS.
  6. Conduct research and development to continuously improve simulation methodologies and processes.
  7. Create and maintain documentation of simulations, results, and methodologies.
  8. Troubleshoot and debug simulation issues to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  9. Work closely with hardware and software engineers to integrate simulation models into vehicle systems.
  10. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  11. Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate simulation findings and updates.
  12. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.
  13. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field Is Essential For An Adas Simulation Engineer At Ford Motor. This Provides A Solid Foundation In Mathematical And Scientific Principles That Are Necessary For Developing And Testing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Adas Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems And Their Components, Such As Sensors, Cameras, And Control Systems. This Knowledge Is Critical For Developing Accurate Simulations And Troubleshooting Potential Issues.

  • Experience With Simulation Software: Proficiency In Simulation Software, Such As Carmaker, Simulink, Or Carsim, Is A Must For This Role. Adas Simulation Engineers At Ford Motor Use These Tools To Create Virtual Environments And Test Various Scenarios For Different Adas Systems.

  • Familiarity With Automotive Industry Standards And Regulations: As An Adas Simulation Engineer At Ford Motor, It Is Essential To Have A Good Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 26262, To Ensure That All Simulations And Tests Comply With Safety And Quality Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Adas Simulation Engineers Are Responsible For Analyzing Data, Identifying Potential Issues, And Finding Solutions To Improve System Performance.
