Job Description

This role will be responsible for managing tentpole sales and deals coverage, plus assigning and editing additional shopping content (may include product guides, roundups, retailer guides, reviews, and product odes). Assigning, editing, and writing stories on various shopping topics. Fully owning deals and sales content, acting as the point person for tentpole coverage for major sales events throughout the year. Top editing content from part-time editors as needed. Contributing deals content to our newsletter. Recruiting and onboarding new freelance writers. Keeping our edit calendar up-to-date.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience covering sales, deals, and tentpole shopping events (such as Black Friday) is required

  • Should have a familiarity with commerce content; direct prior experience a big plus but not required

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

  • A strong understanding of SEO and user intent as it pertains to shopping content is required
