Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Customer Service at Food Lion. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated customer service representatives and ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has a strong background in managing a team.   1. Lead and manage a team of customer service representatives to ensure high-quality customer service is provided at all times.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Train and coach team members on effective customer service techniques and procedures.
  4. Monitor and evaluate customer service performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  5. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve customer concerns.
  7. Develop and maintain customer service policies and procedures.
  8. Set and maintain customer service standards for the team.
  9. Monitor customer service metrics and report on key performance indicators.
  10. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and address any issues.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer service.
  12. Hire, train, and evaluate new team members as needed.
  13. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for the customer service team.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with customers and handle any escalated concerns.
  15. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customer service-related campaigns and promotions.
  16. Ensure that all customer service equipment and tools are functioning properly.
  17. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on customer service performance.
  18. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure team members do the same.
  19. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline customer service processes.
  20. Act as a role model for the team by consistently demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
