Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager of Customer Service. As the Manager of Customer Service, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers have a positive and enjoyable shopping experience. This position requires strong leadership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to effectively manage a team.   1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  2. Train, coach, and mentor customer service team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of customer service representatives, providing feedback and implementing corrective action when necessary.
  4. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for customers by ensuring that all team members are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  7. Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient customer service practices.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to customer service.
  9. Handle escalated customer inquiries and find solutions that meet both the customer's needs and company policies.
  10. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and track customer service metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  11. Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  12. Oversee the scheduling and staffing of the customer service team to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  13. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on customer service performance and initiatives.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve the overall customer experience and make recommendations for process improvements.
  15. Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning within the customer service team.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Manager At Food Lion Should Possess Excellent Leadership Abilities To Effectively Guide And Motivate The Customer Service Team.

  • Customer Service Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In The Retail Industry. This Experience Should Include Handling Customer Complaints, Resolving Issues, And Providing Exceptional Service.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: A Manager - Customer Service Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Customer Issues Or Concerns That May Arise. They Should Be Able To Think Critically And Find Solutions In A Timely Manner.

  • Knowledge Of Food Lion Policies And Procedures: A Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Food Lion's Policies And Procedures To Ensure That Customer Service Is In Line With The Company's Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Return And Exchange Policies, Product Knowledge, And Store Operations.
