  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center store department, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of all processes.
  2. Manage a team of center store employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain high-quality products for our customers.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste.
  5. Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff.
  6. Train and mentor employees on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and seamless shopping experience for customers.
  10. Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to maintain inventory levels and negotiate favorable terms.
  11. Conduct regular store walk-throughs to identify and address any operational or customer service issues.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and competition to make strategic recommendations for improvement.
  13. Uphold the company's customer service standards and handle any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Develop and manage department budgets, including forecasting and analyzing financial data.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In A Leadership Role: A Center Store Manager At Food Lion Must Have Prior Experience In A Management Or Supervisory Position, Preferably In A Retail Or Grocery Store Setting.
