- Oversee the daily operations of the center store, including managing inventory levels, ensuring product availability, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability of the center store.
- Lead and motivate a team of center store associates, providing clear direction and setting performance expectations.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Foster a customer-focused environment by providing exceptional service and resolving any customer issues or complaints.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
- Collaborate with other store managers and departments to plan and execute promotions, sales, and seasonal displays.
- Train and develop center store team members on product knowledge, customer service skills, and store procedures.
- Monitor and control expenses to meet budgetary guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors’ offerings to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Participate in company meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment for all team members and customers.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of all products.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Grocery Store Setting
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team
Extensive Knowledge Of Center Store Operations, Merchandising, And Inventory Management
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
Proficient In Financial Management, Including Budgeting And Forecasting, To Maximize Sales And Profitability.
