Food Lion is seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Store Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our center store department. As the Center Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of our store. We are seeking someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of inventory management and merchandising.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center store department, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability in the center store department.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of center store employees to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  5. Ensure that all center store products are properly stocked, rotated, and displayed to meet customer demand and company standards.
  6. Collaborate with other department managers to create a cohesive store experience for customers.
  7. Train and coach team members on product knowledge, customer service, and company policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing company safety and sanitation policies.
  9. Manage and control inventory levels to minimize shrink and maximize profitability.
  10. Communicate effectively with upper management to provide updates on department performance and any issues or concerns.
  11. Stay current on industry and market trends to make strategic decisions in the center store department.
  12. Uphold company values and ensure that all team members are following company policies and procedures.
  13. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their growth and development.
  15. Collaborate with the human resources department to recruit, hire, and train new center store employees.
  16. Maintain a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
  17. Adhere to and enforce all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  18. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new ideas to enhance the center store department and overall store performance.
