We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Center Store Associate to join our team. As a Center Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our shelves are stocked and organized to meet the needs of our customers.   1. Greet and welcome customers to Food Lion in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products in the center store area and be able to assist customers with questions and recommendations.
  3. Ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized according to company standards.
  4. Receive and unload inventory shipments, accurately check in products, and stock shelves in a timely manner.
  5. Rotate and face products to ensure freshness and prevent expiration.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when products are running low.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash and debris, and sanitizing work surfaces.
  8. Assist customers with finding products and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  9. Operate cash register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  10. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic shopping environment.
  11. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the center store area.
  12. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer service, and merchandising.
  14. Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Food Lion in a positive light.
