- Assist the Deli Bakery Manager in daily operations of the deli and bakery departments.
- Supervise and train deli and bakery associates on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Ensure all deli and bakery products are prepared and displayed according to company standards and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and receiving products to maintain proper stock levels.
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to drive sales and meet department goals.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with the Deli Bakery Manager to create and implement promotional and marketing strategies.
- Assist with scheduling and managing employee work hours to ensure adequate coverage.
- Train and mentor new deli and bakery associates.
- Oversee and maintain department cleanliness and organization.
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Or Deli Bakery Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Role.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Deli Bakery Associates.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations, As Well As Experience In Adhering To Health Code Standards.
Excellent Customer Service Skills And Ability To Maintain A Clean And Organized Deli Bakery Department.
