Public Health Advisor
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Public Health Advisor to join the Food and Drug Administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to the organization on public health issues. This position requires a deep understanding of public health, nutrition, and epidemiology, and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders in the public and private sectors. If you are passionate about public health, have an eye for detail, and thrive on making a difference, this position may be for you!The successful candidate must have a Master's degree in public health, nutrition, or epidemiology. In addition, a minimum of five years of experience in public health policy and/or research is required. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to stay up to date on recent public health trends. A background in health promotion and disease prevention is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public health policies and procedures according to best practices and government regulations.
- Monitor and analyze public health data to identify trends and evaluate public health programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the public and private sectors to develop effective public health strategies.
- Develop and implement health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on public health issues to the organization.
- Stay up to date on recent public health trends and provide evidence-based solutions.
- Prepare reports and presentations on public health topics.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars on public health topics.
- Participate in research projects related to public health.
- Develop partnerships with other organizations in the public and private sectors.
