Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Pharmacologist with a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex medical issues? If so, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Pharmacologist. In this role, you will conduct research and investigations to evaluate the safety and efficacy of drugs and other related products.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to make a real difference in the health and safety of the public. We are looking for a candidate with an understanding of the principles of pharmacology, experience researching and developing drug products, and a passion for making our drug products as safe and effective as possible. The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research and investigations to evaluate the safety and efficacy of drugs and other related products.
  2. Analyze data related to pharmacology and drug safety.
  3. Develop strategies to improve drug efficacy and safety.
  4. Develop and implement protocols for drug safety and efficacy.
  5. Monitor and analyze drug safety data.
  6. Develop and maintain drug safety databases.
  7. Provide technical expertise to other departments within the FDA.
  8. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure drug safety and efficacy.
  9. Participate in drug development meetings and provide feedback.
  10. Prepare and present reports to upper management summarizing findings.
