
Health Scientist
Are you an experienced Health Scientist looking to join the Food and Drug Administration? We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in public health, nutrition, epidemiology, health economics, biostatistics, or a related field to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for public health and a commitment to making a positive impact on the health of the public.The Health Scientist will be responsible for providing scientific and technical expertise in support of the FDA's mission to protect public health. The successful candidate will assess and analyze data related to public health threats, research and assess the safety, efficacy, and quality of food and drug products, and develop evidence-based risk assessments to inform FDA policy and decision-making.The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or PhD in public health, nutrition, epidemiology, health economics, biostatistics, or a related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Candidates must also demonstrate strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities:
