
Health Communications Specialist
We’re looking for a motivated Health Communications Specialist to join the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) team and help us effectively communicate health-related messages to the general public. The ideal candidate should be passionate about health and have a strong grasp of communication principles.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. You should also have excellent writing and speaking skills, and experience in developing and delivering health-related communications. You should be a creative thinker with an eye for detail and a dedication to meeting deadlines. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver effective health-related communications to the general public
- Research and stay up to date with health trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Write and edit content for a variety of communication channels
- Create and disseminate press releases and other materials
- Monitor and evaluate communications activities
- Track and analyze data related to health communications campaigns
- Assist in the planning and implementation of health communication initiatives
- Manage and coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders
