
Director, Office of Compliance and Enforcement
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a Director for the Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OCE). This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced leader to lead a team of dedicated professionals in ensuring compliance with FDA's regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a passion for protecting the public health and a commitment to leading through collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their work.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as public health or law; a minimum of seven years of experience in compliance and enforcement within a regulatory environment; a strong understanding of the FDA's processes, procedures, and regulations; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines. Experience in the food and drug industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals in ensuring compliance with FDA's regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness of the Office of Compliance and Enforcement.
- Monitor and review compliance and enforcement activities to ensure they are in line with FDA regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry, government, and consumer groups.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of compliance and enforcement activities.
- Provide guidance and advice to FDA staff on compliance and enforcement matters.
- Ensure that FDA policies and procedures are followed and enforced effectively.
- Represent the FDA at conferences, seminars, and other meetings related to compliance and enforcement.
- Develop and implement training and educational programs for FDA staff on compliance and enforcement.
- Develop and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of non-compliance.
