Director, Office of Compliance and Enforcement

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a Director for the Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OCE). Experience in the food and drug industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of professionals in ensuring compliance with FDA's regulatory requirements.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness of the Office of Compliance and Enforcement.
3. Monitor and review compliance and enforcement activities to ensure they are in line with FDA regulations.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry, government, and consumer groups.
5. Prepare and present regular reports on the status of compliance and enforcement activities.
6. Provide guidance and advice to FDA staff on compliance and enforcement matters.
7. Ensure that FDA policies and procedures are followed and enforced effectively.
8. Represent the FDA at conferences, seminars, and other meetings related to compliance and enforcement.
9. Develop and implement training and educational programs for FDA staff on compliance and enforcement.
10. Develop and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of non-compliance.
