
Consumer Safety Officer
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Consumer Safety Officer to join our dynamic organization. The ideal candidate should have the desire to protect public health by ensuring the safety of products regulated by the FDA. We seek an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about public health.The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections and investigations to protect the public from potentially hazardous products. This includes taking appropriate enforcement action when needed. Additionally, the Consumer Safety Officer will provide guidance and education to regulated industries and the public.The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in public health, food science, or a related field. The ideal candidate should also have at least five years of experience in consumer safety or related field, as well as knowledge of FDA regulations. The ability to manage multiple projects and work independently is essential. Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and investigations into potentially hazardous products regulated by the FDA in order to protect public health.
- Take appropriate enforcement actions when needed.
- Provide guidance and education to regulated industries and the public.

- Monitor and evaluate products regulated by the FDA for potential safety hazards.
- Prepare and submit reports, as needed, to the appropriate authorities.
- Remain up-to-date on current FDA regulations and industry practices.
