Assistant Mill Engineer

Responsible for implementing the day-to-day operations & maintenance of the sugar cane milling tandems. Responsible for the distribution of work schedules, priority lists, and disassembly schedule to front line supervisors. Actualize maintenance repair schedule bi-weekly (at a minimum) for review by management. Responsible for completion of all mill assembly/setting drawings, shop fabrication drawings, and general reference drawings using AutoCAD software. Responsible for shipping and maintaining tracking documents of large mill equipment. Understanding of mill settings, mill setting calculations, mill maintenance, and assembly/disassembly procedures. Operation and direct supervision of cane milling plant during grinding campaign. Verification of mill assembly measurements. Review of mill settings as needed during maintenance outages.
