Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Associate Director Category Marketing to join Flipkart’s growing team. We’re looking for someone with a passion for marketing, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to drive growth and increase customer engagement.As an Associate Director Category Marketing, you will be responsible for driving marketing initiatives and developing strategies to support our category team in their efforts to acquire, engage, and retain customers. You will have a deep understanding of customer needs, the ability to develop effective marketing plans, and the ability to deliver results. You will also have excellent communication and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate for this role has at least 7 years of marketing experience in an ecommerce or online retail environment. You should have a deep understanding of customer segmentation, a creative mindset to develop effective marketing strategies, and the ability to analyze and interpret data to develop actionable insights. You should also be comfortable leading cross-functional teams and have a proven track record of delivering marketing initiatives that drive growth and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategies and marketing plans to support the category team in acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers.
  2. Utilize customer segmentation and analyze data to develop actionable insights.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives.
  4. Monitor results of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  6. Develop creative solutions to drive customer engagement.
  7. Manage budget and ensure marketing initiatives are cost-effective.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business goals.
  9. Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  10. Measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives.
