
Vendor Management Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Vendor Management Coordinator to join our team at First Horizon. This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating vendor relationships and activities, while ensuring that all vendors adhere to our organizational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. If you have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, then this position may be the right fit for you.Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in vendor management, supply chain management, or related field• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other vendor management software• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures • Monitor and track vendor performance, including vendor performance reviews • Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to ensure cost savings and efficiency • Ensure timely delivery of materials and products from vendors • Develop and implement strategies for vendor selection, evaluation, and management • Analyze vendor contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures • Monitor vendor invoices and payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness • Assist in the resolution of vendor disputes and discrepancies • Track vendor performance metrics and communicate results to internal stakeholders • Maintain current and accurate records of vendor activities and performance • Review and update vendor management policies and procedures • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective vendor management
