- Greet and welcome customers to the bank with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers and make appropriate recommendations.
- Balance cash drawers and accurately record transactions in accordance with bank procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and security procedures to protect customer accounts and bank assets.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and provide a seamless customer experience.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing and organizing cash and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of banking operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a professional and inviting environment for customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Typically Required For A Teller Position At First Horizon.
Cash Handling Experience: Previous Experience Handling Cash And Working With Financial Transactions Is Preferred For This Role.
Strong Customer Service Skills: Teller Positions Require Frequent Interaction With Customers, So Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential.
Attention To Detail: Teller Positions Involve Handling Large Sums Of Money, So Attention To Detail And Accuracy Are Crucial To Ensure Accuracy And Prevent Errors.
