- Greet and welcome customers to the bank in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process various types of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, accurately and efficiently.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all bank products and services in order to effectively assist customers with their needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and balance cash drawer daily.
- Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Continuously strive to exceed customers' expectations and provide a positive banking experience.
- Collaborate with team members and actively contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required by the bank.
- Uphold the bank's brand and image by presenting a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Cash Handling Experience: A Teller At First Horizon Should Have Previous Experience Handling Cash And Be Comfortable Working With Large Sums Of Money.
Customer Service Skills: Teller Positions Require Strong Customer Service Skills In Order To Assist Customers With Their Banking Needs And Provide A Positive Experience.
Attention To Detail: Tellers Are Responsible For Accurately Counting And Processing Transactions, So Attention To Detail Is Essential In This Role.
Knowledge Of Banking Procedures: A Teller Should Have A Good Understanding Of Basic Banking Procedures, Such As Processing Deposits And Withdrawals, Balancing Cash Drawers, And Completing Various Types Of Transactions.
Communication Skills: Teller Positions Involve Frequent Interaction With Customers, Coworkers, And Other Bank Employees, So Strong Communication Skills Are Necessary To Effectively And Professionally Communicate With Others.
