  1. Monitor and analyze suspicious activities within the company to identify potential risks.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activity and report findings to the appropriate parties.
  3. Develop and implement risk assessment strategies to identify potential areas of vulnerability.
  4. Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure the company is in compliance.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
  6. Communicate potential risks to senior management and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  7. Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
  8. Review and assess internal controls to ensure effectiveness in mitigating risks.
  9. Train and educate employees on risk management policies and procedures.
  10. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify any potential gaps or weaknesses.
  11. Prepare reports and presentations on risk management activities for senior management.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in risk management.
  13. Provide guidance and support to other team members on risk management matters.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes and procedures.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information related to risk management.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) Laws And Regulations: A Risk Specialist Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Aml Laws And Regulations, As Well As The Ability To Interpret And Apply Them In Their Daily Work.

  • Experience In Suspicious Activity Monitoring (Sam) Systems: Familiarity With Sam Systems And Their Functionalities Is Crucial For A Risk Specialist In Order To Effectively Monitor And Identify Potential Suspicious Activities.

  • Analytical Skills: A Risk Specialist Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Review And Analyze Large Amounts Of Data, Identify Anomalies And Suspicious Patterns, And Make Informed Decisions Based On Their Findings.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Details Is Essential For A Risk Specialist As They Need To Identify And Report Even The Smallest Red Flags That May Indicate Suspicious Or Fraudulent Activities.
