Retirement Plan Consultant

First Horizon is looking for a Retirement Plan Consultant to join our team and help us provide first-class service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing retirement plans, providing advice and guidance to employers on plan compliance, and creating strategies to minimize the plan sponsor’s fiduciary risks.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, plus five years of experience in retirement plan consulting. You should have a strong understanding of ERISA, plan design, and investments. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement retirement plans according to client needs • Provide advice and guidance to employers on plan compliance • Develop strategies to minimize plan sponsor’s fiduciary risks • Monitor and ensure compliance with ERISA regulations • Analyze and recommend investments for retirement plans • Research and stay informed of industry trends and best practices • Prepare client presentations and reports • Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries • Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with all regulations • Provide education and support to plan participants • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and developments
