Develop and implement innovative security solutions to safeguard company information and assets.
Lead the design and implementation of complex security systems.
Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
Monitor security systems and promptly respond to any security incidents.
Work closely with third-party vendors and partners to ensure compliance with security standards.
Conduct regular security audits and report findings to senior management.
Provide guidance and support to other team members on security-related issues.
Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Act as a subject matter expert on security matters and provide guidance to other departments.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Information Security, With A Focus On Architecture And Design. This Should Include Experience In A Leadership Or Senior Role, Providing Strategic Direction And Guidance To The Security Team.
Technical Expertise: A Strong Understanding Of Security Principles, Protocols, And Technologies Is Essential For This Position. The Candidate Should Have A Deep Knowledge Of Network Security, Application Security, Data Protection, And Cloud Security. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Best Practices Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Pci-Dss.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Principal Security Architect Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Mitigating Potential Security Risks And Vulnerabilities. They Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Assess Complex Security Issues And Develop Effective Solutions. The Ability To Think Critically And Troubleshoot Problems Is Crucial In This Role.
Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Security Professionals. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Security Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders, As Well As Collaborate With Other Teams And Departments Within The Organization.
Industry Certifications: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field Is Preferred. In Addition, Industry Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Sans Giac Are Highly Desirable And Demonstrate A Commitment To Ongoing Professional Development And Expertise In The Field Of Information Security.
