- Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents related to corporate and securities law.
- Conduct thorough research on relevant laws and regulations to support legal cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
- Maintain organized and accurate legal files and records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective case management.
- Utilize legal databases and resources to gather information and assist with case strategy.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and conducting witness interviews.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to corporate and securities law.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Proactively identify and address potential legal issues.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures within the legal team.
- Adhere to ethical standards and codes of conduct in all job responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Paralegal, Preferably In A Corporate Or Securities Law Setting.
Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Securities Laws And Regulations.
Ability To Conduct Legal Research And Draft Legal Documents, Such As Corporate Filings And Sec Forms.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With Attorneys And Clients.
