Job Description

We at First Horizon are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mortgage Servicing Specialist to join our team. We are a customer-focused mortgage lender that provides exceptional service and home loan products to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of mortgage servicing experience, be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks, and be comfortable working with a wide range of customers. The successful Mortgage Servicing Specialist will be proficient in loan origination and servicing functions, have a strong understanding of mortgage servicing regulations and requirements, and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Originate and service mortgage loans in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  2. Manage customer accounts, including payment processing, loan modifications, and other servicing activities.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and answer questions about loan products and services.
  4. Research and analyze loan servicing data and records.
  5. Prepare loan documents for closing and disbursement.
  6. Monitor and maintain records of loan activity, including payment histories and loan balances.
  7. Review and evaluate credit reports and other financial documents.
  8. Work with customer service and loan processing teams to ensure accurate and timely servicing of loans.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable mortgage servicing regulations and requirements.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
