We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, and is adept at problem-solving.A successful Mortgage Loan Officer at First Horizon will have a comprehensive understanding of mortgage loan products and services, including loan origination, processing, underwriting, and closing. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with customers to provide expert advice on mortgage loan products and services
Analyze customer financial information to determine eligibility for loan approvals
Manage the loan origination, processing, underwriting, and closing process
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Communicate with customers to ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan process
Actively participate in marketing activities to increase customer base
Monitor industry trends to ensure customers are offered the best available loan programs
Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and inquiries
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to generate new business

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Bachelor's Degree In Finance
Thorough Understanding Of Loan Processing And Underwriting Guidelines
Accounting Or Business Administration Preferred
Valid Nmls License
Minimum Of - Years Of Experience In The Mortgage Industry
Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills
Proven Ability To Work With A Diverse Customer Base
Proficiency In Operating Computer Software And Loan Origination Systems
