At First Horizon, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. We have exciting opportunities for the right individual who can bring an enthusiasm for helping people to our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and helping them make informed decisions about the best mortgage product to meet their needs.The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, must be highly organized and have excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer service expectations, as well as the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.To be considered for this role, you must have a valid mortgage loan license, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in mortgage loan origination and processing. A college degree in finance or a related field is preferred but not required.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping people and is excited about the opportunity to join a growing team of mortgage professionals. Responsibilities for the Mortgage Loan Officer:

Provide excellent customer service to clients and help them make informed decisions about the best mortgage product to meet their needs.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and referral partners.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Originate, process, and close mortgage loan applications.
Monitor and maintain mortgage loan pipelines.
Provide accurate and timely customer service to clients.
Monitor and maintain loan status and progress.
Analyze financial documents and loan applications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain knowledge of current mortgage and real estate trends.
Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards.
