First Horizon is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team and help our customers achieve their dreams of homeownership! In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and managing loan originations. You will provide exceptional customer service, while interacting with customers, loan officers, and other professionals.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage origination, along with a thorough understanding of loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly organized, and be capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple customers simultaneously. You must also possess a valid real estate license in the state of Tennessee.If you are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and have a passion for helping people, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage loan originations and provide exceptional customer service.
Interact with customers, loan officers, and other professionals.
Possess a thorough understanding of loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
Be highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple customers simultaneously.
Possess a valid real estate license in the state of Tennessee.
Advise customers on the best mortgage product and services for their needs.
Collect and analyze customer financial and credit information.
Prepare and submit loan applications and ensure accuracy of all documents.
Monitor loan progress and keep customers updated on status.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Finance
Economics
Or Related Field
At Least Years Of Mortgage Loan Origination Experience
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Closing Mortgage Loans
Thorough Understanding Of Loan Origination And Processing Procedures
Ability To Stay Current With Changing Laws And Regulations In The Mortgage Industry
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills
Proficiency With Loan Origination Software And Other Computer Programs
Excellent Organizational And Multitasking Skills
