  1. Assist the Model Risk Management team in reviewing and validating financial models to ensure they are accurate and effective.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  3. Work closely with team members to gather data and perform testing on financial models.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to understand the use and impact of financial models within the organization.
  5. Document and maintain records of model validation processes and findings.
  6. Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights and contribute to the development of new financial models.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to model risk management.
  8. Communicate and present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of model risk management policies and procedures.
  10. Take on additional tasks and projects as needed to support the team and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

  • Knowledge Of Financial Modeling: A Strong Understanding Of Financial Modeling Techniques And The Ability To Manipulate And Analyze Large Datasets Is Essential For This Role.

  • Analytical Skills: The Ability To Think Critically And Solve Complex Problems Is Crucial In Model Risk Management. The Intern Should Also Have Strong Mathematical Skills And Be Able To Interpret Statistical Data.

  • Communication Skills: The Intern Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Communicate Model Risk Findings And Recommendations To Stakeholders.
