  1. Conduct thorough analysis of derivative transactions for clients, including identifying risks and opportunities.
  2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements in all derivative transactions.
  3. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Monitor and evaluate market trends and developments to inform decision-making processes.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and risk management, to develop and implement effective strategies.
  6. Utilize financial models and tools to assess the potential impact of derivative transactions on clients' portfolios.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  8. Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients on derivative transactions and market trends.

  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of all derivative transactions and related documents.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Derivatives: A Derivative Analyst At First Horizon Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Types Of Financial Derivatives, Such As Options, Futures, And Swaps, And Their Underlying Financial Instruments.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Financial Modeling: The Role Requires Strong Quantitative And Analytical Skills To Analyze Market Trends, Evaluate Risk Exposure, And Develop Financial Models For Derivative Products.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: As A Financial Institution, First Horizon Is Subject To Regulatory Requirements For Derivative Trading. A Derivative Analyst Must Have Knowledge Of Relevant Regulatory Frameworks, Such As Dodd-Frank, To Ensure Compliance With All Applicable Rules And Regulations.

  • Experience With Derivative Trading Platforms: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Trading Platforms And Systems Used In Derivative Markets, Such As Bloomberg, Reuters, And Cme Group. This Will Enable Them To Efficiently Execute Trades And Monitor Market Movements.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Derivative Analysts At First Horizon Work Closely With Traders, Risk Managers, And Other Stakeholders. Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential To Effectively Collaborate And Make Informed Decisions In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Trading Environment.
