Job Description

At First Horizon, we are looking for a talented Credit Analyst to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate must have the experience and knowledge necessary to conduct credit investigations and make recommendations to management. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.The Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and assessing creditworthiness and risk of potential customers. They will also be in charge of developing and maintaining credit policies and procedures. This individual must have a firm understanding of financial statements and be able to interpret financial data.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and have at least three years of experience in a similar role. They must have familiarity with credit analysis software and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and assess creditworthiness and risk of potential customers.
  2. Develop and maintain credit policies and procedures.
  3. Interpret financial data and assess credit risk.
  4. Utilize credit analysis software to analyze customer data.
  5. Prepare credit reports for management and make recommendations.
  6. Monitor customer accounts and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
  7. Manage customer accounts and report any discrepancies or issues.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
