Job Description

At First Horizon, we are seeking a highly motivated Credit Analyst to join our team and help us grow our loan portfolio. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong analytical background. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness of potential borrowers, reviewing financial information, and providing recommendations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, at least three years of experience in credit analysis, and a strong understanding of credit policies and regulations. Responsibilities:

Analyze creditworthiness of potential borrowers by reviewing financial information.
Provide recommendations on creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.
Monitor loan portfolio and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Assist in developing new credit policies and procedures.
Provide support to loan officers and other departments when necessary.
Analyze loan applications, credit reports, and other documents as required.
Prepare detailed credit reviews and analyses.
Develop and maintain relationships with external lenders.
Monitor loan performance and provide timely updates to management.
