Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Credit Analyst to join our team at First Horizon. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of our customers and prospective customers and analyzing financial statements. You will also be responsible for providing recommendations on credit extensions and maintaining accurate records of credit decisions. The ideal Credit Analyst will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with at least three years of experience in the credit analysis field. You will have an in-depth knowledge of credit and lending regulations, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You must have the ability to analyze complex financial statements and understand a customer’s financial situation. You will also have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and has excellent communication skills. Responsibilities for Credit Analyst:

Analyze customer and prospective customer creditworthiness.
Analyze financial statements and assess customer financial situation.
Make recommendations on credit extensions.

Stay updated on credit and lending regulations.
Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills.
Develop reports and present summaries of credit analysis.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate credit decisions.
Establish relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor customer accounts for potential changes in credit risk.
