We at First Horizon are looking for an outstanding Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent financial analysis and critical thinking skills, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and credit risk. If you have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for financial markets, this is the perfect position for you. We are looking for someone who can bring a unique perspective to our team and help us create innovative solutions.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in a credit analyst role. You should also have experience in financial modeling, data analytics, and credit risk analysis. An understanding of banking regulations and strong quantitative analysis skills are a must. You should also be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is also essential.

Responsibilities:

Perform financial analysis and credit risk assessment on potential investments.
Develop financial models and utilize data analytics to assess credit risk.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize credit risk.
Stay up to date on banking regulations and industry trends.
Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit issues.
Create reports and presentations to present findings and recommendations.
Communicate effectively with other teams and stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors.
Meet tight deadlines and manage workloads efficiently.
Provide solutions to complex problems and recommend innovative solutions.
