Job Description

As a Compliance Officer at First Horizon, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business practices and activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be a critical member of the team, driving the development and implementation of compliance programs to protect the organization from potential legal and regulatory risks.Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field, and at least 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, and/or audit. You must also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.At First Horizon, we believe that Compliance Officers play a vital role in ensuring that we remain compliant with all laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure that all business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor and assess compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and take corrective action as needed.
Track and report on compliance activities, identifying areas of non-compliance and recommending appropriate corrective action.
Assist in the development of training and educational materials related to compliance topics.
Create and maintain a culture of compliance within the organization.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and relevant third parties.
Investigate and respond to compliance-related inquiries and complaints.
Stay up-to-date with changes in applicable laws and regulations.
Provide guidance to the business on compliance-related issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
