Job Description

At First Horizon, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team and help ensure that our organization maintains compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, an eye for detail, and a commitment to ethical practices. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience working in a compliance role. Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations is also necessary. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing and monitoring compliance processes and procedures to ensure that our organization operates within the legal and ethical boundaries of our industry. They will also create and maintain compliance policies and procedures, provide training sessions to staff, and ensure that all employees adhere to our regulations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and monitor compliance processes and procedures to ensure our organization is operating within applicable laws and regulations.
Create and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
Provide employee training sessions on relevant laws and regulations.
Ensure all staff adhere to our regulations.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Investigate any potential compliance issues and take corrective action when necessary.
Analyze and report on compliance-related activities and metrics.
Work with all departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor and document compliance violations and work with management to ensure corrective action is taken.
Stay up to date with industry changes and best practices.
