We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Compliance Officer to join First Horizon's team. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who is committed to upholding the highest standards of compliance in all aspects of the company's operations.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in banking compliance and regulatory requirements. You should be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, policies, procedures, and laws.
Monitor compliance operations and activities to identify areas of potential risk.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices.
Manage and review compliance operations and activities.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Provide training and advice to staff on compliance matters.
Investigate and prepare detailed reports on any compliance issues.
Monitor and review internal and external audit reports.
Liaise with external regulators in order to ensure full compliance with all applicable requirements.
