
Collections Specialist
At First Horizon, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Collections Specialist who can help us maintain our high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage a high volume of accounts, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving customer disputes, and utilizing the most current collection techniques to ensure prompt payment.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of collections experience, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage accounts and resolve customer disputes. The candidate should also be able to work independently, have strong problem-solving and customer service skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts and resolve customer disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize the most current collection techniques to ensure prompt payment.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documents for all accounts.
- Monitor customer accounts for potential delinquencies and take appropriate action.
- Analyze customer accounts and develop strategies to improve payment performance.
- Maintain open communication with customers to keep them informed of payment status.
- Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs as needed.
