
Collections Specialist

As a Collections Specialist at First Horizon, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the collections process, from initiating contact with delinquent customers to helping them formulate payment plans. Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with delinquent customers to discuss payment plans and options.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers.
- Monitor customer accounts for collection activities and follow up as needed.
- Maintain updated records of collection activities.
- Analyze customer financial data to determine the best payment plans.
- Investigate customer disputes and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
- Communicate regularly with customers and customers’ representatives regarding collections.
- Participate in training and development activities to stay updated on industry developments.
- Prepare and analyze reports on collection activities.
- Provide feedback to management regarding collection activities and strategies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
