As a Collections Specialist at First Horizon, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the collections process, from initiating contact with delinquent customers to helping them formulate payment plans. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic company.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of collection policies. You must also have the ability to work independently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. You should also be highly proficient in using computer software, including Excel and Word. Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate contact with delinquent customers to discuss payment plans and options.
  2. Negotiate payment arrangements with customers.
  3. Monitor customer accounts for collection activities and follow up as needed.
  4. Maintain updated records of collection activities.
  5. Analyze customer financial data to determine the best payment plans.
  6. Investigate customer disputes and resolve them in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
  8. Communicate regularly with customers and customers’ representatives regarding collections.
  9. Participate in training and development activities to stay updated on industry developments.
  10. Prepare and analyze reports on collection activities.
  11. Provide feedback to management regarding collection activities and strategies.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
