Are you an experienced Collections Specialist looking to make an impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? First Horizon is looking for you! We are a leading bank and financial services company with a strong presence in the Southeast, and we’re looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team.You will be responsible for managing the collection of past due accounts, and will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of collections operations. This includes communicating effectively with customers, setting up payment plans, and providing excellent customer service.The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2-5 years of collections experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to remain organized and motivated in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage collection of past due accounts.
  2. Communicate effectively with customers to set up payment plans.
  3. Provide excellent customer service.
  4. Remain organized and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
  6. Negotiate settlements with customers.
  7. Identify and implement process and policy improvements.
  8. Monitor credit and collection reports.
  9. Investigate customer accounts for accuracy and compliance.
  10. Handle customer inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
