Plan and execute audit projects in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's operations, processes, and systems.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas for improvement within bank operations.
Lead and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Monitor and track audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Keep abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes, and incorporate them into audit processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to risk management and compliance.
Train and mentor junior auditors, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
Uphold the organization's values and ethical standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Auditing And Project Management: As A Senior Audit Project Manager In Bank Operations, The Individual Must Possess A Strong Background In Both Auditing And Project Management To Effectively Oversee The Audit Process And Ensure Timely Completion Of Projects.
Knowledge Of Banking Regulations And Operations: The Ideal Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Banking Regulations And Operations, Including Risk Management, Compliance, And Internal Controls, To Effectively Identify And Address Potential Issues.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Audit Project Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Auditors And Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management. Therefore, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking: The Senior Audit Project Manager Must Possess A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Issues And Develop Effective Solutions To Address Them.
Professional Certification: A Professional Certification Such As Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Or Certified Bank Auditor (Cba) Is Highly Desirable For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Auditing Principles And Techniques.
