
Risk Officer - RCSA Process Oversight

- Develop and implement a comprehensive Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.
- Collaborate with department leaders to review and update risk management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze internal and external factors that may impact the organization's risk profile.
- Communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations to senior management and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with risk management standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to risk management.
- Conduct training sessions for employees to promote risk awareness and educate them on risk management best practices.
- Develop and maintain risk management metrics and reports for senior management.
- Lead risk assessment meetings and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all risk control measures are implemented and monitored effectively.
- Ensure all risk-related incidents are documented and investigated in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of the organization's risk management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.

Knowledge Of Risk Management Principles: A Risk Officer At First Citizens Bank Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Practices, Including Risk Assessment, Mitigation, And Monitoring. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Oversee The Rcsa (Risk Control Self-Assessment) Process And Identify Potential Risks Within The Bank's Operations.
Experience In Banking And Financial Services: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Banking And Financial Services, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Risk Management Role. This Will Ensure That They Have A Solid Understanding Of The Regulatory Environment And The Specific Risks Faced By Banks, Allowing Them To Effectively Implement Risk Management Strategies.
