Director of Family Ministries (DFM)

Develop, promote, maintain a vibrant children’s ministry (birth – 5th grade) designed to teach age appropriate Biblical truths to the result that children are led to trust Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Oversee and give leadership in children’s ministries and programs such as Children’s Worship, Sunday School, Small Groups, Awana, Vacation Bible School, and summer activities such as day camps, summer camps and retreats. Lead the church in planning, conducting and growing a comprehensive program of Christian discipleship. Oversee and give leadership to Special Needs and Foster/Adoption ministries. Supervise Preschool Director and all Family Ministry Interns. Prepare appropriate budgets in consultation of each assigned ministry team. Actively track expenses to make sure all assigned departmental expenses remain in budget.
