Supply Management Specialist (Ordering Manager)
As a Supply Management Specialist (Ordering Manager) in FEMA's Reservist Program, you will serve as a subject matter expert in support of supply operations. Requesting personnel, supplies, services, and equipment needed during emergency management-related operations. Coordinating available funding, validating additional funding request generated by subordinates, and processing requests for additional funds. Reviewing vendor contract files to ensure that invoices are received, verified, approved, forwarded, payments are made, the correct documentation is maintained, and vendor payment discrepancies are resolved. Collaborating with immediate supervisor to monitor employees' performances, develop and carry out staff reduction plans, and to resolve issues and problems arising from or occurring during emergency management-related operations and/or exercises.
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
Travel will be required
Minimum age of eighteen years of age is required.
