  1. Oversee a team of program specialists responsible for providing services to disaster survivors and communities.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to efficiently manage programs and services.
  3. Utilize your strong understanding of emergency management to ensure programs are in line with FEMA guidelines and regulations.
  4. Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and development opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate efforts and resources for disaster response and recovery.
  6. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary improvements to meet the needs of disaster survivors and communities.
  7. Serve as a liaison between FEMA and external stakeholders, such as local government officials and community organizations.
  8. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to team members, stakeholders, and the general public.
  9. Provide leadership and direction to the team, setting clear goals and expectations to achieve program objectives.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to program management.
  11. Stay updated on industry developments and trends to continuously improve program services.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.
  13. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior within the team and the organization.
  14. Represent FEMA at meetings, conferences, and events related to program management.
  15. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to encourage growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Management Or Supervisory Roles.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) Policies, Procedures, And Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Program Specialists.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
