  1. Lead and supervise the Individuals & Households Program Group, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of emergency services to disaster survivors.
  2. Manage a team of emergency management specialists, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure their success in delivering critical services.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to develop and implement comprehensive emergency management plans and strategies.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on emergency management principles, policies, and procedures, providing guidance and training to team members as needed.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Individuals & Households Program Group, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Oversee the allocation of resources and assets to support disaster response efforts, ensuring proper utilization and tracking of resources.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and other stakeholders to support disaster relief efforts and ensure effective communication and coordination.
  8. Stay current on the latest developments and best practices in emergency management, incorporating them into the team's operations and processes.
  9. Respond to emergency situations as needed, providing leadership and guidance to the team and working in collaboration with other emergency response agencies.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to emergency management and disaster response.
  11. Prepare and present reports, briefings, and other communication materials to senior management and external stakeholders as needed.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a strong sense of mission in the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Emergency Management, With A Focus On Disaster Response And Recovery.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Emergency Management Professionals.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Fema's Individuals & Households Program And Its Policies And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate With Other Agencies And Stakeholders During Disaster Response And Recovery Efforts.
