- Monitor procurement processes: Regularly review procurement processes and systems, identifying any issues or areas for improvement and making recommendations for corrective action.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and guidelines related to procurement processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain reports: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track and communicate procurement progress, expenses, and other key metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments and teams to gather data and coordinate efforts to improve procurement processes and systems.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities: Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement data analysis and make recommendations for implementation at FEMA.
- Train and educate staff: Provide training and support to staff on procurement processes and systems, ensuring understanding and adherence to established procedures.
- Uphold FEMA's mission: Understand and uphold FEMA's mission to support communities in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Information Systems.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Or Data Analysis, Preferably In A Government Or Emergency Management Setting.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Visualization Tools, Such As Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Or Power Bi.
Knowledge Of Procurement Regulations And Processes, Including Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Emergency Procurement Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Data To Diverse Audiences.
