  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for mitigation activities to reduce the impact of disasters on the community.
  2. Conduct research and analysis on best practices for disaster mitigation and make recommendations for their implementation.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and implement mitigation projects.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation efforts and make necessary adjustments to ensure success.
  5. Coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to disaster mitigation.
  6. Manage and track project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of mitigation activities.
  7. Identify potential risks and challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on mitigation projects.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team of mitigation professionals.
  9. Communicate and present project updates and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and developments related to disaster mitigation and incorporate them into mitigation strategies.
  11. Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to disaster mitigation.
  12. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and innovation.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert on disaster mitigation and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  14. Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events related to disaster mitigation.
  15. Uphold the organization's mission and values in all aspects of work and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Emergency Management, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Program Analysis Or Management, Preferably In The Field Of Emergency Management Or Disaster Mitigation.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Identify Trends And Patterns.

  • Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Policies Related To Emergency Management And Disaster Mitigation, Including Those Of Fema And Other Relevant Agencies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders To Achieve Goals And Objectives.
