  1. Coordinate and manage logistics operations to support disaster response and recovery efforts.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive logistics plan to ensure efficient and effective delivery of resources and supplies.
  3. Work closely with other team members to identify and address logistical needs in a timely manner.
  4. Monitor and track inventory levels and make recommendations for procurement or redistribution of resources as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities.
  6. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to secure necessary resources and supplies.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  8. Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to procedures.
  9. Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on logistics activities and address any concerns.
  10. Monitor and report on the progress of logistics operations and make adjustments as needed.
  11. Implement and maintain safety protocols for all logistics operations.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management.
  14. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  15. Uphold the organization's mission and values in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Management, Preferably In A Disaster Response Or Emergency Management Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Fema's Mission, Policies, And Procedures Related To Logistics.

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Fema's Logistics Supply Chain Management System (Lscms) And The National Emergency Management Information System (Nemis).

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
