
Grants Management Specialist
Responsible for implementing and managing Federal grants and cooperative agreements and providing related technical assistance and services. Awarding and administering grants and cooperative agreements. Conducting post-award analysis to identify issues, weigh alternatives, and determine best approaches for the resolution of complex problems or issues related to grants awards and/or cooperative agreements. Monitoring recipient compliance with federal grant requirements and assessing recipient performance. Performing final review of completed awards and processing closeouts. Providing training, technical assistance, and subject matter expertise to recipients and FEMA program officials.
Experience in grants and contracts administration, specifically government grants
Must have a clear understanding of general accounting principles
Ability to work well as apart of a team and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
